Hey! It’s me.

This is my “hey, what’s up face”.

Hi Friends,

Maggie here. I have gotten lots of questions about what I do lately, so I’m here to tell you some of the ways I help people and some interesting facts about me. It’s like an introduction post with a twist.

first a little bit you probably know…

My first career was as a professional dancer.

I live in Southern California and spend chunks of time in the Arkansas Ozark.

I value nourishing adventure and connection.

and some things you might not have gathered…

I live with multiple health diagnoses.

My husband and I work together frequently.

I am 47 years old and was born on leap day.

you probably had no idea…

An alternate career that I didn't choose was outdoorswoman and guide.

I thought I would have 6 kids and never imagined being married.

I spent many summers on the Outer Banks and I saw a mermaid when I was 7.

I have a superpower! I ask great questions. In the beginning, before I understood my superpower, it felt like the worst part about me, it got me into trouble because I didn’t understand it. Once I learned to use my power I cultivated it for good (although it still annoys some people!)

My official title is NASM Certified Personal Trainer, I prefer to call myself a coach and neither of those accurately touch on the full spectrum of work I offer clients. I also have a certification as a level one Precision Nutrition coach and my specialization is as a DNSET which stands for Dynamic neuromuscular Stabilization Exercise trainer. And most recently I achieved licensure with Centers for Spiritual Living as a Spiritual Practitioner.

All that to say, I move people body, mind and soul where they want to go.

But first is deciding where you want to go, I find many times in the beginning people who come to me have an idea of what they are “supposed to be doing”, or what they “should look like”. So, they want me to help force their mind and body match the standards, ideas, or beliefs of some outside fitness authority.

What truly serves us is to learn and use the concepts and principles of how to think, move and be in our body so we can choose our own fitness destination or what I call a Lifespan Goal.

To begin the process of unraveling from the hooks of fitness culture and discovering your authentic Lifespan Goal I regularly ask questions.

This is the heart of my mission. I think of it as a kind of Fitness Freedom

I like freedom, how bout you?
